MUSIC AND MUSICIANS - 6 VOLUME SET 1944 ILLUSTRATED ED MUSIC AND MUSICIANS - 6 VOLUME SET - 1944 ILLUSTRATED EDITION This 3rd edition copy of GROVE`S DICTIONARY OF MUSIC AND MUSICIANS - was edited by H. C. Colles and published by The Macmillan Company of New York in 1944 in 5 Volumes, & the 2nd printing copy of the Supplementary Volume was also published in 1944. They are 9 by 6 inches, there are around 700 pages in each volume not including the numerous illustrated plates printed on one side only & on heavier stock paper that are scattered throughout each volume, plus there are other smaller illustrations. There are no dust jackets, the head & heels of the spines & the corner tips are gently rubbed & bumped, the front board on the cover of Vol. IV has some faint stains & there is a stain from newsprint on the inside front cover, but otherwise this entire set is in very good condition, clean & tight with no other marks or inscriptions. I have other vintage & collectible Sheet Music listed this week, as well as many other unique items, so please be sure to check them all out, and feel free to bid on more than one item, as I will gladly combine items to help save on shipping.
