Pettibon flyers, posters, letters, comics, arworks, etc, are exploding in value of late, if you collect them, you know just how much they have appreciated in the last few years, finally the rest of the world is catching on, so do not miss your chance to snag this great, original, professionally offset printed 8 1/2" x 11" beauty! This great gig poster/flyer was for a gig in San Pedro on July 30, 1982, at Dancing Waters. For some reason, these Dancing Water gig flyers are in limited supply and hardly ever come up on eBay or anywhere else, for that matter, and when they do, the command high prices, more so than some of the older ones, go figure? This particular, original, offset-printed flyer was sent to me direct by the good folks at SST records back in the day, so it has obviously been folded in thirds for mailing, and stapled together (staple was CAREFULLY removed when I got it in 1982, staple holes are nearly INVISIBLE NOW), and has a stamp on the back, along with my address written in ballpoint pen, and the return address of SST records stamped in the corner, see pics of the back attached, too cool. Please be aware that there is a very TINY brown stain, the size of a small match head, in the bottom left corner, it is beyond small, but only fair to point out, right? Overall, a real beauty, and one of my all-time personal faves, the caption at the top is a killer, it says "A woman getting tied up is the most beautiful sight in the world. But when she smiles it scares me to death..." Classic Raymond Pettibon, I hate to let this one go....my loss is your gain, though, so bid high, as this is a great, rare flyer, that does not come around very often, and may not show up again anytime soon....Like all my flyers listed, I meticulously have stored this flyer flat ever since, so the folds are almost invisible now. It has four tack holes in each corner from when I briefly hung it on my wall back in the day, but it has been kept in an archival sheet with a cardboard backing for over 25 years, see pics of the front and back, they tell the whole story. This flyer you will receive is printed very well, with great, dark ink, and the great artwork really 'pops' off the bright white page nicely! ..overall truly a dramatic piece of art and highly desirable punk collectible!!
