Pettibon flyers, posters, letters, comics, arworks, etc, are exploding in value of late, if you collect them, you know just how much they have appreciated in the last few years, finally the rest of the world is catching on, so do not miss your chance to snag this great, original, professionally offset printed 8 1/2" x 14" beauty! This great gig poster/flyer has been printed on super cool peach colored paper, for a gig in San Francisco on May 4, 1984. Never folded, no rips or marks, a real beauty, see pics of the front and back, they tell the whole story, but I would also like to be ultra-upfront and point out the slight ripples to two corners, and some tiny, almost invisible light creases, not folds, just a little scrunched way back when, in two corners, resulting in a few subtle 'waves' and a hint of long-ago 'dog-eared' folds to the paper, beyond minor, but I felt it only honest to point out in case you do not see it in the photos clearly enough. These minor imperfections are the only thing keeping this flyer from being 'near mint', and can be seen in the upper right and lower right sections of the flyer, when viewed from the front, hardly noticeable unless closely scrutinized. This gig flyer/poster now lies perfectly flat, of course, and is super clean, except for a tiny stain below the word 'Broadway', see pic, and is in excellent condition overall. This particular flyer you are hopefully bidding on hung in a museum (!!) that had a punk rock section for years, under glass, and was admired by thousands, and now it can be yours! I bought it years ago from the museum curator along with other rare material. Great Pettibon artwork that was also used for the 'My War' Black Flag LP cover, this flyer you will receive is printed very well, with great, dark ink, and the artwork really 'pops' off the page nicely, and is on rare colored paper...overall truly a dramatic piece of art and highly desirable punk collectible!!
